Fight Night Boxing Games Set to Return, EA Sports Confirms

EA Sports has confirmed that its Fight Night boxing video game series is making a comeback. The announcement comes more than 15 years after the release of Fight Night Champion, the last entry in the long-running franchise.

The company did not provide a title, release date or target platforms for the new project. Those details remain under wraps for now, leaving fans to speculate about what the revival will look like on current hardware.

Fight Night built a dedicated following during the 2000s and early 2010s with its focus on realistic boxing mechanics, career modes and visceral close-quarters combat. Fight Night Champion, released in 2011, was widely praised for its story-driven Champion Mode and refined fighting controls. After that, the series went quiet as EA shifted its attention toward mixed martial arts with the UFC franchise.

The confirmation of a return signals renewed interest in boxing games at a time when the sport has drawn major attention through high-profile fights and streaming deals. It also suggests EA sees room for a dedicated boxing title alongside its other sports properties.

For now, the publisher is keeping specifics close to the chest. No trailer, no roster and no launch window have been shared. Fans eager for a new chapter in the series will have to wait for further word from EA Sports as development moves forward.
