Miami Heat Hint at Vice City Jerseys Ahead of GTA 6 Launch

Heat fans have another reason to be hyped for the season after Giannis Antetokounmpo's arrival. The team is now teasing a return of its famous Vice City themed jerseys, timed just before the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.

The original Vice City uniforms became a fan favorite when Miami first wore them during the 2017-18 season. The design leaned into the city's neon soaked 1980s aesthetic, mixing pink, blue, and black into a look that felt pulled straight out of a retro arcade. Since then, the Heat have brought the concept back in different forms, and each drop has sold out quickly.

This latest tease arrives at a moment when Miami culture is already dominating the conversation. GTA 6, which takes place in a fictional version of Florida, has drawn obvious comparisons to the city's style and atmosphere. The Heat appear ready to capitalize on that energy.

Details on the jerseys remain limited. The team has not confirmed a release date, pricing, or whether the design will be worn during games. Still, the timing suggests a major merchandise push is coming.

For a franchise that has always understood branding, this move fits perfectly. Between a new superstar and a nostalgic uniform line, Miami is giving its fans plenty to talk about before the season even tips off.
