Nintendo has confirmed that the Switch 2 will arrive in June with a "Choose Your Game" bundle option. Instead of a single forced title, buyers will be able to select from three major launch games when they pick up the console.
The available choices are "Mario Kart World," "Donkey Kong Bananza," and "Pokémon Pokopia." This marks a shift from typical console launches where one game is bundled regardless of preference. Nintendo is letting players decide which franchise they want to start with.
"Mario Kart World" is expected to build on the series' established formula with new tracks and mechanics. "Donkey Kong Bananza" promises a more action-focused platforming experience. "Pokémon Pokopia" appears to be a new entry that blends exploration with creature collection, though details remain limited.
The bundle strategy could help Nintendo move more units at launch by appealing to different fan bases. Hardcore Mario Kart fans, platformer enthusiasts, and Pokémon collectors each get a reason to buy early.
Pricing for the bundle has not been announced, but analysts expect it to be slightly higher than a standard console package. The Switch 2 itself is rumored to feature improved graphics, faster load times, and backward compatibility with original Switch games.
Retailers are already preparing for high demand. Pre-orders are expected to open shortly after the official announcement. Nintendo has not confirmed exact dates beyond the June window.
