November 12, 2025 - 04:52
The former president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé, has expressed his astonishment at Microsoft's lack of a full embrace of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. With the holiday season approaching, Fils-Aimé anticipated that fans would see a wider array of Microsoft titles making their way to the new console.
His remarks highlight a growing expectation among gamers for cross-platform collaboration, especially given the success of previous partnerships. The gaming landscape has evolved significantly in recent years, with many developers recognizing the benefits of bringing their titles to multiple platforms.
Fils-Aimé's insights reflect a broader sentiment in the gaming community, where the demand for diverse gaming experiences continues to rise. As the Switch 2 prepares for its launch, many are left wondering why Microsoft has not capitalized on this opportunity to expand its reach and engage with a new audience. The anticipation surrounding the Switch 2 is palpable, and fans are eager to see how the competition will respond.
