Whites-Only Return To The Land Settlement Raising Funds Through Video Games

A whites-only settlement project in Arkansas is using video games as a fundraising tool for its white nationalist agenda. The organization, which excludes non-white people and promotes the racist "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory, is selling a farming simulation game on Steam to finance its activities.

The game presents itself as an ordinary agricultural experience, but the proceeds flow toward the group's broader goals of building a racially exclusive community. The title remains available for purchase on the platform, and Valve Corporation collects a percentage of every sale.

The arrangement raises questions about how digital storefronts handle products that funnel money into extremist causes. Steam has faced criticism in the past for hosting content tied to hate groups, and this case adds another example of how easily such material can blend in with mainstream gaming offerings.

The settlement effort has drawn attention from civil rights organizations that monitor hate group activity. By packaging fundraising through a seemingly harmless game, the project can reach audiences that might not otherwise engage with its ideology. The game's continued presence on a major platform underscores the difficulty of policing extremist financing in online marketplaces.
